The International Children’s Day 2021
The TCF ED gave a good will message at the occasion
Children’s Day is marked on the 27th of May annually to raise awareness and support children’s welfare across the globe. The celebration of the 2021 Children’s Day was to raise awareness on insurgency, rising insecurity and increased cases of Gender Based Violence exacerbated by the COVID- 19 pandemic.
The theme of the International Children’s Day 2021 was ‘‘Investing in our future means investing in our children’’. Stakeholders, Government, Private Sector, Parents and Care givers are to raise their voices and actions to pay attention to safe guiding children by providing safe learning environment and communities for them to strive to their full potentials.

TCF joined the Federal Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Paullen Tallen in commemorating the day at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Tabitha Cumi Foundation Executive Director gave a good will message at the event. There were rich and colourful displays of cultural dances from different schools in FCT and good will messages were presented by different dignitaries. Other stakeholders joined virtually.
