In the three-day training, participants(girls) went through intensive trainings on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), with the aim of stepping down trainings to their peers at their respective States. Throughout the training, girls who had been selected from different schools found opportunities for active learning, participation, engagement, and team bonding.
At the end of the training, participants commented that it was highly participatory, engaging and an “eye opener”. It was very visible at the end of the training, that girls understand their roles and responsibilities on the programme as Peer mentors and were prepared to support implementation of the project back in their States.
