FLAGS Project Launch

On the 9th of December 2021, Tabitha Cumi Foundation launched her project Flashlight Actions on Girls’ Safety (FLAGS) project. In attendance were TCF Trustees, stakeholders, FLAGS beneficiaries, and TCF team. The FLAGS project, a 3yrs project from May 2021-April 2024 is funded by United Nations Trust Fund (UNTF) to end violence against women to support 750 marginalized adolescent girls between the ages of 10-19 in 10 communities of FCT, Nasarawa, and Niger States to be better informed on gender-based violence.

Arc Adetayo Erinle the Executive Director of TCF, took the participants through FLAGS project at a glance with reference to its initiatives, outcomes, and goals. TCF would be working with Health departments, Police and FIDA in the implementation states. After which, the project was launched with a stop violence campaign.
