TCF hosted a 3days TOT meeting for Mama Yara’s and Amintacces from all ten communities in FCT, Nasarawa and Niger States where the FLAGS project is being implemented.

The training was facilitated by the TCF team and partners from FIDA , FCT Police Command (gender desk), Bwari AREA COUNCIL , Awyetu Sexual Assault Referral Center (SARC) and FCT DEPARTMENT OF MASS EDUCATION to build the capacity of Mama Yara’s and Amintacces for the purpose of stepping down trainings to girls in their safe spaces and communities.

The training sessions were highly interactive as participants were engaged in group presentations and mock sessions. By the end of the training, participants had a better understanding of their role in responding , preventing & referral pathways of GBV in their safe spaces.
