UNICEF training on minimum standards for the establishment of a pad bank

A two day training of trainers (TOT) workshop funded by the United Nations Children’s Funds (UNICEF) and facilitated by Tabitha Cumi Foundation for 30 participants from the 5 GEP 3 States namely: Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara States.

The meeting was made up of stakeholders and representatives from the Federal Ministry of Education, High Level Women Advocate (HiLWA), Resource persons, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and Principals.

During the two days training, participants went through intensive trainings on Menstrual Health Hygiene Management and minimum standards for the establishment of a pad bank in schools for the 5 GEP 3 states.

The workshop was engaging, participatory and a platform for enlightening the Trainers.
