Tabitha Cumi Foundation team visited the project sites in Benue, Ebonyi and Lagos States to carry out activities on the GBV Alert for Girl Empowerment (ENGAGE-HER) project implemented under the Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE) Nigeria, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Palladium.

The objective was to conduct advocacy visits with the schools and communities of implementation, as well as to gain entry and support from community members and school authorities at the State level.

The ENGAGE-HER team conducted advocacy with the Benue State Ministry of Education, conducted community sensitizations on the project background and strategy as well as Financial literacy training with project participants at the communities.

These activities were carried out concurrently in all the States with the objective to introduce the project goals and expected outcomes.

Stakeholders welcomed the project and pledged their full support throughout the project life span.
