Courtesy Visit to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Office.

Still on the International Day of the Girl Child Commemoration.
We’re thrilled to share that our Executive Director, Arc. Tayo Erinle and her team paid a courtesy visit to the NAPTIP office in Abuja to follow up on her project beneficiary in the NAPTIP shelter.
It was an incredibly enriching conversation with the Ag. Director of Counselling and Rehabilitation, Mrs Angela Agbayekhai, Ag. Director Violence Against Persons Department, Barr Mary Amugo represented by Mrs Mildred, Head Rapid Response Squad, Mr. Magnus Emeh, and other amazing staff at NAPTIP including our Participant’s counsellor Victoria.
To spice up our visit, we saw the survivor after some weeks of being at the shelter, looking joyful to see us. Coincidentally, the survivor’s father was there following the team’s family tracing and investigation proceedings.
At the heart of everything we do lies a deep commitment to ensure the girls’ voices are heard and provide survivor-centred through collaborative efforts. Today’s visit and conversation was a beautiful testament that we can do more together.
