Since the inception of Tabitha Cumi Foundation, several Health Awareness Campaigns have been carried out on sensitizing and creating health-seeking behaviour among rural dwellers. Achieving the MDG goals on Infant and Maternal Mortality Reduction has been the heartbeat of the foundation, we have put structures in place in our communities to ensure a zero-tolerance to maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. We have established primary health centres in hard to reach areas ot ‘Help Mama Keep Baby’.
With access to these centres, pregnant women can now receive antenatal and postnatal care while children receive their immunisation when due un these communities.
From inception to date, the project has recorded about 3040 infant births, with no infant or maternal mortality recorded. we have also created access to immunisation.
